Museum De Paviljoens, Almere

The connected pavilions that make up this contemporary art museum were originally designed by architects Robbrecht and Daem for the Documenta IX exhibition in Kassel, Germany (1992). The pavilions were later moved to the Dutch city Almere, and now house galleries, lecture halls, and educational facilities. Serener’s Hooks 8 lines the wall of a multifunction space, transforming a utilitarian element into a visually arresting one. Exhibitions rely on a custom Serener Lloyd Table, outfitted with a glass top for display purposes.
